Cookie Policy
Exactly what this website stores on your device, and the rather short list of things it does not.

The short version
When you first arrive, we ask. Analytics cookies are set from that first visit unless and until you turn them off, and turning them off takes one click, here or in the banner. Advertising cookies are different: we set none at all unless you actively agree to them.
If you do say yes, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use Facebook or other social media pixels. Our fonts are served from our own server rather than from Google, so they set nothing either.
One more thing worth naming, because we would rather over-explain than under-explain: our Google Partner badge is an image served by Google rather than by us, so Google can see your IP address on pages that show the badge. We have tested it and it sets no cookies, which is why it is not in the tables below. Our privacy policy covers it.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies, such as local storage and session storage, do a similar job. The rules that apply to cookies apply to those too, so we list everything we use below, whichever technology it happens to be.
Some storage is strictly necessary: without it, something you asked for would not work. That kind does not need your permission. Everything else does, and that is what the banner asks about.
Strictly necessary
These are always active. They carry no tracking and none of them tell us who you are.

Our contact forms are also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being filled in by a person rather than a bot. It runs only on pages with a form, and it may store a short-lived token on your device while it does that check. It is not used to track you, it sets no advertising cookies, and because it is what stops those forms being abused it counts as strictly necessary rather than something we ask permission for.
Analytics, unless you turn them off
These tell us how many people use the site and which pages are worth keeping. They are set by Google Analytics, and unlike the categories below they are active from your first visit. Refuse analytics, here or in the banner, and they are removed and never set again.

Advertising, only with your permission
We advertise on Google, and these let us see which adverts actually lead to an enquiry, and show our ads to people who have been here before. They are only set once you allow advertising.

If you say no, we do not load the map at all. We show a placeholder in its place, and the "Get directions" link still works because it only opens Google Maps when you click it. You can change your mind at any time.
How we hold Google to your choice
We load Google's tags using Google Consent Mode, which means Google is told your choice directly rather than being trusted to honour it. Advertising starts in a denied state and is lifted only once you agree. Analytics starts granted, and the moment you refuse it we tell Google to switch to its restricted mode, where it writes nothing to your device.

Use the button below, or the cookie settings link in our footer, to review or change your choice whenever you like.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this, and aboutcookies.org.uk explains how. Because we rely on storage to remember that you said no, clearing it means we will ask again on your next visit.

If you choose to load the map, Google handles that data as its own controller. Google's privacy policy explains what it does with it.
